My Commitment to you
I’m going to show up fully present and on time, leaving behind anything that has accumulated during the day, and I’m here to listen to you and connect with your energy and be fully honest about what comes through as being in alignment for you.
Your Commitment
You’re going to come to this session with a clear mind, fully prepared, with questions, and with a deeper understanding of your situation so we can continue to dive deeper into understanding it. You’re going to show up with willingness and openness to whatever messages might come up during the reading.
My Services
I will do a Tarot reading/coaching session/container for you. It is not a substitute for legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or so on. But I will be drawing on my intuition, experience as a spiritual life coach, and drawing on the Tarot cards and giving you a Tarot reading/coaching.
Statement of Tarot Ethics
A statement of ethics is provided at thebutterflysouls.com, which covers the ethical policy of JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS, hereby integrated and incorporated into this Terms of Service.
Appointments
Tarot readings/coaching sessions can be booked at thebutterflysouls.com and by submitting payment along with the client intake form and signed copy of the client agreement.
For live readings/coaching sessions there will be no refunds for canceling with less than 24 hours notice. If something should arise where you need to give less than 24 hours notice email jessie@thebutterflysouls.com and it is up to my discretion to allow for the readings/coaching sessions to be rescheduled.
For recorded readings, I will contact you after your booking, and will ask any clarifying questions if needed in regards to the intake form.
If any changes need to be made to your question to be in alignment with the guidelines (no third party questions, or questions outside the scope of my qualifications, etc) or if the wording needs to be edited to better help you achieve the outcome you desire as stated in your intake form or through our discussions then I will contact you to work with you on creating the most empowering and helpful question possible.
Please allow up to 7 business days to receive the completed reading in your email inbox.
If additional information is needed before conducting your reading, you must respond to the questions in a timely manner and allow at least 3 business days to complete the reading.
After the reading is provided, you are encouraged to send any follow-up questions or comments for clarification if needed as well as any feedback via email to jessie@thebutterflysouls.com. Questions that require additional cards to be pulled will be treated as a separate reading and will require a new booking.
Sessions
The style of Tarot that I do is Tarot Coaching meaning that the purpose is to give you information, tools, and guidance to help empower you to create the present and future that you desire. I use a combination of experience as a Tarot reader and as a soul purpose and spiritual life coach to create a deeper and more transformational experience.
The way that I do my readings is to first say a prayer to connect myself and the person I am reading for to the guidance and light of the universe as well as to our own guides and highest selves. I then use that connection to intuitively select the cards and the layout. The cards themselves serve as a means to channel in the information that is needed. In a live reading, and often included in a recorded reading as well, I will ask you questions before and during the reading to be able to help you select the most empowering question and to co-create the reading with you as part of the purpose of a tarot reading is to also help you connect deeper with your own intuition. Please feel free to share any comments or questions as they arise.
Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Tarot readings/coaching sessions by JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS constitute a professional service and due to the nature of the service and labor involved, all readings/coaching sessions are non-refundable. However, if no readings/coaching sessions was performed or your readings/coaching sessions professional has cancelled the reading prior to its commencement, then of course, your fee will be refunded to you in full. JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS exercises great reasonable care and diligence in performing each and every tarot reading. If you are dissatisfied with your readings/coaching sessions, please contact your readings/coaching professional to see if an agreeable settlement may be worked out at the full and complete discretion of JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS. You should be aware that due to the nature of Tarot and coaching, sometimes the reading/coaching is not what you “want” to hear or may offer suggestions different than what you expected. This is not a defect of the reading/coaching and is therefore not grounds for a refund.
Scope of Life Coach Services
The tarot reading services provided by Jessica Gomez or The Butterfly Souls is more akin to life coach services and strives to help you work on your goals for the future and create the life path you desire. Your tarot reading with Jessica Gomez or The Butterfly Souls in no way replaces professional counseling from a licensed counselor or therapist and cannot be relied upon in lieu of sound legal, medical, or financial advice from licensed or qualified professionals. Jessica Gomez or The Butterfly Souls in no way diagnoses problems, but rather, suggests creative perspectives for understanding your current problems or help you come up with actions you can take to empower yourself in a way that will maximize your personal and professional potentials. Jessica Gomez or The Butterfly Souls strives to help you improve the quality of your life by tapping into your intuition. The role of such a life coach is supportive.
Disclosure of Limitations
A tarot reading/coaching should never be used in place of professional counseling. Your reading/coaching cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice nor does any portion of your reading from JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS purport to do so. You should not rely on a tarot reading/coaching to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, a tarot reading/coaching cannot replace qualified mental health care. A tarot reading/coaching can only facilitate how you cope spiritually with a given situation.
Video Reading Recordings
JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS may, at your option, provide video conference tarot readings/coaching sessions through third party platforms or hosts, such as Skype or Zoom. These video readings may from time to time be recorded. If a video reading is recorded, you will be put on notice in advance of the recording. You are entitled to a copy of the video recording, though charges may apply. Before consenting to a video reading, please go over any questions or concerns you may have with JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS. By commencing a video reading, you are consenting to the terms herein. Likewise, please be advised that you are not permitted to record video readings without express, written permission from JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS. If you would like to record your video tarot reading, please ask before doing so.
Confidentiality of Tarot Readings and Coaching
JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS exercises reasonable diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of your tarot reading/coaching and will not voluntarily, knowingly, intentionally, or willfully disclose your identity or the contents of your tarot reading/coaching to third parties. However, if JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS genuinely believes disclosure is required to: (1) prevent imminent harm or risk of harm to yourself or to another, (2) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or (3) protect or defend JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS against claims or threats of claims, then JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS reserves the right to do so to the extent reasonably necessary. Please keep in mind that no legally recognized privilege exists between a tarot professional/coach and client the way a privilege might exist between an attorney and client, doctor and patient, husband and wife, or priest and penitent.
Fortune Telling Laws
Pursuant to applicable laws of certain jurisdictions, a person can be guilty of fortune telling when, for a fee or compensation, that person claims or pretends to tell fortunes, or holds him or herself out as being able, by claimed or pretended use of occult powers, to answer questions or give advice on personal matters or to exorcise, influence, or affect evil spirits or curses, unless otherwise done so explicitly for entertainment purposes only. Any and all readings provided by JESSICA GOMEZ OR THE BUTTERFLY SOULS neither claims nor pretends to tell fortunes and neither claims nor pretends to use occult powers in ways that would run against such laws. In certain jurisdictions, a tarot professional is required to disclose to you that tarot readings should be for entertainment purposes only, and if such a law applies to your reading, then you are hereby on notice thereof.
